A large collection of used books at reasonable prices will be available. All purchases benefit the CLC Literary Arts Club scholarship. Book donations will be gratefully accepted on Sun., November 15 from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. in the Brandel Court. (Location subject to change.)





Patricia Smith Poetry Reading

Patricia Smith returns to the College of Lake County to read from her original poetry. Four-time National Poetry Slam individual champion, Smith's recent book of poetry, Blood Dazzler was a finalist for the National Book Award. This event is open to the public.

Patricia Smith is a recent inductee into the International Literary Hall of Fame or Writers of African Descent.

Willow Review Reading & Reception

Willow Review, the College of Lake County's very own international, award-winning literary magazine, will celebrate the release of the 2010 edition by hosting contributing authors, who will read from their original poetry and prose. Copies of the new issue will be available at the reading. Willow Review is partially funded by a grant from the Illinois Arts Council.





The 19th Annual William Shakespeare’s Birthday Festival
