This sensory-friendly, holiday-inspired song-and-dance party by Grammy Award-winning artist Dan Zanes with Claudia Eliaza and Pauline Jean promises to be the perfect musical fare for family audiences this season. In this festive holiday show, Dan, Claudia and Pauline create a relaxed, inclusive and inviting atmosphere designed to entertain all families including those with autism or other special needs. Dan’s music combines folk and soul music, creating a magical, musical sing along and dance along experience where the doors are open wide and everyone is invited.

“The crown prince of contemporary kid’s music.” -People Magazine

FREE continental breakfast for 11 a.m. show attendees.

The James Lumber Center for the Performing Arts understands that patrons with Autism Spectrum Disorders and other special needs have unique and varying sensory issues. Entering a large auditorium with many people can be challenging and overwhelming, and the JLC staff will help provide a supportive and welcoming environment for all audience members. Sensory accommodations will be provided in a judgement-free, gentle manner while also preserving the genuine experience desired by all patrons and their families.

SENSORY GUIDANCE
• Reduction of loud or jarring sounds.
• No flashing/strobe lights during performance.
• House lights will also be modified accordingly during the performance.
• Audience members are free to vocalize or move around throughout the concert.
• Audience members are welcome to bring their own manipulatives, seat cushions, comfort objects/toys, and extra support items to the show.
• Guidance and sensory supports (including earplugs and stress-reducing toys) will be available at the JLC box office before the show.
• If overstimulated or in need of personal space, there will be a designated “quiet/chill” area in the JLC lobby.
• Call our box office at (847) 543-2431 for special assistance, including availability of buffer seats for additional personal space.
